To make the Jasmine Pearls they go through a very skilled & intensive process. The very young & tender buds of green tea are picked then skilfully rolled into tiny balls, then left to dry for 4 months.
Once the Jasmine Flowers are in bloom the Pearls are left to trap the aroma & flavour for 5 nights. Each morning the Pearls & flowers are separated & re-fired to absorb the moisture during scenting.
Once the Jasmine Pearls are infused in hot water, they unfurl & release that heavenly Jasmine flavour & aroma.
Also known as Buddha’s tears or Dragon Pearls.
